Many pages are for beginners, but since we install ponds as a part of our landscaping business, some topics deal with construction and what we have learned in the process. Below are some of the articles that we have read and found of great interest to us concerning water gardens, koi ponds, and treatment of koi and aquatic plants. We do not make any illusions that all subjects are addressed. We found these articles interesting and crucial to our understanding of the problems we encounter both as an installer of ponds as well as Koi hobbyist. We hope you find them informative as well. Because Koi and watergardens are a hobby with us as well as being a part of our business, we find that we tend to write more about Koi and aquatic plants than anything else.  I suppose that is ok for those of you who have found this page, and I hope that is not a problem with those who are more interested in the other things we do.

  Pond Photo Index  Here is the entry to all our pond and Koi photographs. We have something new and we think pretty informative.   On this Pond Photo Index page we are linking to photographs we have taken.  In December 1998, we started one large pond project and have a series of photographs illustrating the construction of this pond.  If you want to see a pond in progress, take a look   at 18,000 gallon pond .

Coming soon ... more photos from fall 1999 of 18,000 gal pond.  It is truly amazing what a season's growth will do.  Today is 9-10-99.
